Finneytown's "First Pitch" A Big Sucess

Finneytown baseball is raising awareness for different causes and honoring alumni in their "First Pitch" program this spring.  Head coach Julian Deese has arranged the events at some of the Wildcat home games.
On April 9, fallen Cincinnati firefighter William Chenault was honored.  Chenault died of congestive heart failure in 2016.  Springfield Township firefighters honor guard was there.
In the next two weeks , two others are scheduled to be honored.  Suzanna Graham Anderson died of a heart attack during the Flying Pig Marathon last year. Doctor Jonathan Conover, a dentist, has donated money to Finneytown sports programs and has helped with increase awareness in dental hygiene among the junior and senior high student.  May 2nd will be a special first pitch.  Details are being "kept under wraps"!
Coach Deese stated "(he is) raising awareness and bringing the community together. I'm trying to bridge the gap between community and health awareness".
Congratulations to Coach Deese and Wildcat baseball program for having a great program for the Finneytown community.
