Available Coaching Positions


Wyoming Middle School is looking for a boys’ middle school tennis coach for this Spring.  The season starts March 9th with practice.  There are 14 matches and a year end 1 day tournament.  Most matches are Monday – Thursday, with an occasional Friday match.  There are no weekend matches or practices.  Season ends 2nd week of May and there is nothing over Spring Break.  Pay is $1,285.  You have to have the coaching certification but I can help you work through that if you are interested and don’t have it!  Right now there are 12 students signed up to participate.

Varsity Girls' Lacrosse Assistant - deadline 3/1
Varsity Boys' Tennis Assistant - deadline 3/1
Varsity Girls' Volleyball - deadline 4/1

Candidates should have thee following qualities:
A coach with the ability to act with purpose & expect the same for his/her players, as well as, develop a team that can depend on each other.
A coach who understands that relationships matter, that success on  & off the field is measured by those relationships and who willl create a welcoming atmosphere.
A coach who is willing to challenge not only the players, but also his/her staff, while putting support mechanism in place that allows players to view mistakes as feedback and who will support an atmosphere of learning.
A coach who has the creativity to find opportunities for his/her players to explore, take risks, and grow as a player while allowing players to grow both intellectually and physically through sport.

Qualified candidates will be required to obtain the following:
Successfully pass a BCH/FBI background check
Complete the requirements for a Coaching Permit from the Ohio Department of Education
